For summer 2022, the Amgen website lists the following: "While undergraduates interested in Amgen Scholars are encouraged and welcome to submit applications to any and all programs for which they are eligible, please bear in mind that final admissions decisions are subject to COVID-19 mandates of the host institutions and governments, potentially including COVID-19 vaccination requirements, lab availability, accommodations, and travel.."
In addition to applying to Pitt Global Experiences through this application portal, and submitting the Pitt application materials, you must also submit an application and additional documents DIRECTLY to the AMGEN program Pitt's application deadline for this program is Jan 11, 2022. Konnichiwa! After working for the JET program in Japan for just over two years, I decided to pursue a career in international education. I returned to the US via a few months of travel -slowing making my way west with many stops in stunning locations and with amazing people.
