SIT Rwanda Kigali Fall, Spring, Summer SIT Rwanda: Engage with the community for Fall or Spring to examine Post-Genocide Restoration and Peacebuilding in the country’s capital. Travel to northern Uganda, study the root cause of the 1994 genocide and enjoy Murchison Falls National Park while on this hands-on, challenging program. Housing is homestay and hostels.
SIT Samoa Apia Fall, Spring SIT Samoa: Study Pacific Communities and Social Change for Fall or Spring and learn about social, economic and political impacts of westernization and globalization on this Pacific nation and its peoples. Program orientation takes place in Hawaii. Highlights are a trip to Fiji , weeklong village stay and hikes to waterfalls and volcanoes. Housing is University housing and homestay.      
SIT Tanzania Arusha Fall, Spring SIT Tanzania: Fall or Spring terms are available for students who want an in-depth study of Wildlife Conservation and Political Ecology (Arusha) or Costal Ecology and Natural Resource Management (Zanzibar). An Independent Study project and community engagement are integral. Highlights include visits to national parks, visits to rural communities and practicing Kiswahili during homestays.      
SIT Vietnam Ho Chi Minh City Fall, Spring SIT Vietnam: If you're interested in Culture, Social Change and Development, you can take advantage of Fall or Spring options in Ho Chi Minh City. Highlights include a trip to the Mekong Delta and historic Hanoi and visiting indigenous communities. Housing is homestay and hostels/small hotels.
SRAS Kyrgyzstan Fall, Spring SRAS Kygryzstan: Spend a Fall, Spring or full year in Central Asia to study Russian, other Central Asian languages, Area Studies and more. Students who stay for a second semester will have the option of adding an internship or research project to their study of Russian.  Extensive regional travel included in the program. Housing is homestay.
STEM in Cyprus Nicosia Fall, Spring, Summer Spend a Semester, Summer or even a year studying engineering in Cyprus! This program is open to all University of Pittsburgh students and offers a number of courses in the STEM fields. Take engineering courses (in English) in the fields of Civil and Enviornmental Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Oil & Gas Engineering at the University of Nicosia. TEAN Thailand Chiang Mai Fall, Spring, Summer Fall, Spring, and Summer options are available in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Immerse yourself in the Thai culture and colorful world of Southeast Asia. Take courses focusing on a range of topic, such as Buddhism, human rights, international relations, political science, art, and more. Courses are in English, with a required Thai language elective. Excursions include a Thai homestay, Railay West Beach, the island of Andaman Sea, and Krabi. Housing is in off-campus student-resident apartments.      
University of Haifa Haifa Fall, Spring, Summer University of Haifa (Israel): Fall, Spring Full Year or Summer (Intensive Arabic only) are offered for students who want to take a wide range of courses taught in English. Hebrew and Arabic classes available as well. Internships available. Social and cultural activities arranged by staff. Housing is in university dorms.
