Engineering International Programs

The Engineering International Programs team is here to help with general questions as well as more in-depth advising about the global experiences process.   We are normally located in 152 Benedum Hall but we are working remotely for the Fall 2020 term.

If you're not sure how to get started, have general questions, or you want a broad view of all of your options, we are happy to help! You can use our Pathways or Zoom drop-in hours (see below) or send us an email at

Schedule & Types of Advising

We have different options available for you to get your questions answered.  If these times don't work for you, send us an email at  and we'll find a time that does work.

ENGR International Drop-In Advising

Wednesdays from 2:30pm-4:30pm:  ENGR International Drop-In Advising with a peer advisor.
Fridays from 1pm-3pm:  ENGR International Drop-In Advising with a peer advisor.

Meet with one of our knowledgeable peer advisors!  Our peer advisors are engineering student interns who have studied abroad.  We hope that you'll leave the meeting with a clearer idea of which experiences to consider, how to use our website, and who to get in contact with next.

How to join:  Join us on Zoom with the meeting ID 205 313 0916
When you join the meeting, you'll be placed into a waiting room until an advisor is available.  During Drop-In Advising, only one student will meet with an advisor at a time.

ENGR International Group Advising

Thursdays from 7pm-8pm:  ENGR International Group Advising with a peer advisor.

During Group Advising, up to 4 students will meet with peer advisors(s) at the same time.  This will give you a chance to hear questions from other students, reflect on options you may not have otherwise considered, and learn from each other.   Often we will ask SSOE students who have studied abroad to join the session to share their perspectives. You can join the meeting for the entire hour or for just 5 minutes to ask a quick question!

How to join:  Sign up for a Zoom Group Advising Session
