Provost Scholarship for Study Abroad (Summer)

Each year, Study Abroad awards 30 $1,000 scholarships from the Provost's Scholarship for Study Abroad Fund.  
The number of awards given each semester is based on the historical percentage of participation for each term and is as follows:

  • Fall and Full-Year: 5 (Five) $1,000 awards
  • Spring: 10 (Ten) $1,000 awards
  • Summer : 15 (Fifteen) $1,000 awards

Applications for the Provost Scholarship are open for Summer 2020. 

To be eligible to be considered for the scholarship, both your scholarship application AND your study abroad application must be complete by their respective due dates.  Only students with a complete study abroad application will be eligible for consideration. 
Applications for the Provost Scholarship are done through the comoon Pitt Study Abroad Scholarships application.  By submitting one application, you will be considered for an award from various funding sources for which you are eligible, although you can only receive one award per term.
Decisions for the scholarship will be sent by February 7, 2020.  Please understand that your program will not offer an extended decision period while you wait for scholarship news.
