Sodexo International Internship

Internships are crucial to success in today’s competitive job market, and international internships give you a competitive advantage through the experience of a work experience abroad. Sodexo, in partnership with Pitt Business, is offering a unique opportunity to participate in an international internship with the organization. Sodexo Global Internships provide an excellent real-world experience involving travel, working on an interesting project, and developing a professional network. An international internship with Sodexo can also lead to employment opportunities with the company.
The June 2019 internship was in Hong Kong. While the specific project and location for 2020 has not been determined, past projects have focused on communications, global sustainability, event planning, business development, and more.

Academic Description: 
Additional information: A one-day orientation will be held at U.S. Sodexo Headquarters in Gaithersburg, Maryland at the end of May 31, 2019. Flights, lodging, some meals, and a $2,000 travel stipend are provided by Sodexo. Academic credit and tuition are not included and are not an option. All arrangements for travel and lodging are made through Sodexo. All Interns must follow the code of conduct, customs, and laws for the selected country. This is a four-week commitment. Three weeks will be dedicated to the project; the fourth week will be free time in the country. Program requirements Full-time University of Pittsburgh College of Business Administration students with current Sophomore or Junior status Any academic major; cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher Applicants must have a valid passport or apply for a passport by the application deadline.
