Pitt in Florence - Summer

Florence is the ideal setting to spend the summer studying in one of the most historic, cultural and beautiful cities in the world. The city is filled with cobblestone streets, open-air markets, unique food experiences, artistic masterpieces, stunning architecture. This program is designed for students of all majors interested in: Italian language, culture, studio arts, art history, psychology, and more.  You will take 2 courses (6 or 7 credits - depending on the courses that you select) on this 6-week long program.  No previous Italian language experience is necessary. 

Intensive Czech in Prague - 4 weeks

This program offers students the opportunity to learn Czech abroad in the beautiful city of Prague as a part of Pitt’s renowned Summer Language Institute. Students study intensive Czech for 4 weeks at Charles University and participate in an excursion program to a variety of points of interest in and around the magnificent city of Prague. This program is open to students of Czech at the intermediate, advanced, and 4th-year levels.

Intensive Czech in Pittsburgh and Prague

This unique program offers students the opportunity to learn Czech at Pitt’s renowned Summer Language Institute in Pittsburgh and abroad in Prague, Czech Republic. After 6 weeks of language and culture study at Pitt’s Oakland campus, students depart for a 4-week abroad program in Prague at Charles University. In Prague, students will continue their intensive language classes and engage in an excursion program to a variety of points of interest in and around the magnificent city of Prague.

Policy Research Methods & Service Learning in Dublin

You will have the opportunity to earn six credits while exploring Dublin over this six-week program. The program offers students the opportunity to study and research politics, social issues in the heart of Dublin. This program is designed for students of all majors with particular interests in politics, history, gender studies, economics public policy, communications and more. Students on this six-week program will take two courses for a total of six credits.
