SACC-USA (Swedish American Chambers of Commerce of the USA) is a non-profit membership organization at the regional, national and international level.   One of SACC-USA goals is to promote educational and cultural exchange in order to increase mutual understanding between the two countries. To this end, SACC-USA invites technology candidates to apply for positions as interns in corporations in Sweden. 
 

Intensive Polish in Poland - 6 weeks

This program offers students the opportunity to learn Polish abroad in the beautiful city of Krakow as a part of Pitt’s renowned Summer Language Institute. Students study intensive Polish at the Prolog Language School, an institute that boasts cutting edge instructional materials and dedicated, experienced instructors of Polish as a foreign language. After classes, students engage in an extensive excursion program with many different options to destinations and events in Krakow with a local guide from Prolog.

After 6 weeks of language and culture study at Pitt’s Oakland campus, students depart for a 4-week abroad program in Krakow at the Prolog Language School, an institute that boasts cutting edge instructional materials and dedicated, experienced instructors of Polish as a foreign language.

Intensive Russian in Pittsburgh and Moscow

This unique program offers students the opportunity to learn Russian at Pitt’s renowned Summer Language Institute in Pittsburgh and abroad in Moscow, Russia’s capital city. After 5 weeks of language and culture study at Pitt’s Oakland campus, students depart for a 5-week abroad program at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow. In Moscow, students will continue their intensive language classes and engage in an excursion program with destinations such as the Kremlin, the Tretyakov Gallery, Vladimir/Suzdal, among others.

Intensive Slovak in Pittsburgh and Bratislava, Slovakia

This one-of-a-kind program offers students the rare opportunity to learn Slovak at Pitt’s renowned Summer Language Institute in Pittsburgh and abroad in Slovakia.  After 6 weeks of language and culture study at Pitt’s Oakland campus, students depart for a 4-week abroad program at Comenius University in the beautiful, welcoming city of Bratislava, the capital city of the Slovak Republic. In Bratislava, students will continue their intensive language classes and engage in an unforgettable excursion program exploring Bratislava and its surroundings.

Intensive Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian in Pittsburgh and Montenegro

This unique program offers students the opportunity to learn Bosnian/Croatian/Montenegrin/Serbian at Pitt’s renowned Summer Language Institute in Pittsburgh and abroad in Montenegro. After 6 weeks of language and culture study at Pitt’s Oakland campus, students depart for a 4-week abroad program at the University of Donja Gorica in Podgorica, the capital city of Montenegro.
