UROP International at RWTH Aachen University- Germany

RWTH Aachen University is pleased to offer a summer research program to highly qualified students titled the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program. This 10-week-long program (May 11th through July 18th, 2020) is specifically designed for students to gain hands-on experience in research at RWTH Aachen University for the summer term. Students will be able to conduct their own research projects, allowing the chance to determine how research can be implemented into the rest of their college careers and future.
 

IAESTE International Internships

IAESTE provides international professional opportunities for students in the technical fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Architecture). Participants complete internships at host institutions ranging from large multinational corporations to university research centers to startups. All IAESTE participants receive a stipend that generally covers at least the cost of living –housing, transportation and food – in their host city.

DAAD RISE-Research Internships in Science and Engineering (RISE)

Research Internships in Science and Engineering (RISE) is a summer internship program in Germany for undergraduate students from the United States, Canada and the UK in the fields of biology, chemistry, physics, earth sciences and engineering. RISE offers unique opportunities for Bachelor students to work with research groups at universities and top research institutions across Germany for a period of 2 to 3 months during the summer. RISE interns are matched with doctoral students whom they assist and who serve as their mentors. 

Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) Summer Undergraduate Program

The Chinese University of Hong Kong International Summer School is an intensive academic experience and immersion in Chinese culture. The program features two sessions in July and August, with the July session being 5 weeks and the August session being a 3-week intensive Chinese language session.
This program is open to all Pitt students.

Nursing at Trinity College Dublin

Nursing at Trinity College Dublin offers undergraduate nursing students the opportunity to combine learning about nursing and healthcare in Ireland with an active program that includes shadowing opportunities in clinical practice.  The program is designed for nursing students who are interested in exploring difference cultures and obtaining a global view of nursing as a part of their career the University of Pittsburgh.  You'll earn three credits during the two weeks you spend in Dublin.
