Data Mining and Business Intelligence for cyber security applications-Israel

Data Mining and Business Intelligence for Cyber Security Applications summer program focuses on automatic data analysis and the extraction of information and knowledge. Gain both theoretical and practical knowledge by learning the basic tools of data mining in Israel’s cyber security command center, Beersheba. The program includes of two 3-credit courses and a mandatory one-week internship at BGU’s Cyber Security Research Center.

Katz Global Research Practicum

The Katz Global Research Practicum (GRP) is a three-credit course with a study abroad component. The GRP exposes you to international business and current issues affecting the global marketplace. During your time abroad, you will visit companies, engage with executives and Pitt alumni, conduct field research, and experience international culture. 

Yonsei Int'l Summer School

Yonsei University International Summer School: Spend the summer in Seoul with other international students who want to take a wide variety of English-taught classes to fulfill degree requirements. Field trips and cultural activities are included. Housing is in on-campus dorms (apply early).

UNIC-University of Nicosia (Cyprus): Study in beautiful Cyprus for the Fall, Spring or Summer and choose a wide range of courses, including health sciences taught in English. Some semester programs include international travel; a 7-city tour of Cyprus in included in the program fee. Housing is shared apartments, arranged by the program.

University of Haifa (Israel): Fall, Spring Full Year or Summer (Intensive Arabic only) are offered for students who want to take a wide range of courses taught in English. Hebrew and Arabic classes available as well. Internships available. Social and cultural activities arranged by staff. Housing is in university dorms.

Tel Aviv University: Study for Fall, Spring or Summer with other international students in this cosmopolitan city on the Mediterranean. A wide range of courses to fulfill major, minor or gen-ed requirements are offered. Highlights are the vibrant, culturally rich city itself and the chance to visit the Negev Desert, the Dead Sea and the Galilee. Housing is in on-campus dorms.

 

 

 

TEAN Wildlife and Conservation

This five-week programs takes students across Australia to some of the most naturally stunning and ecologically important destinations in the country. Students take an introductory-level science course; travel highlights include: Byron Bay, Kakadu National Park, the Blue Mountains, and the Great Barrier Reef. Housing is in shared budget-style accommodation, serviced apartments, and a few nights camping.
